About Dr. Froese

Dr. Jennifer Froese is the founder of Central Kansas Psychological Services, a telehealth-based practice committed to making quality mental health care accessible across Kansas. She is a dedicated clinician with a passion for helping individuals not only get through life’s most difficult moments — but grow through them. Known for her warm and empathic approach, Dr. Froese partners with her clients to create a space that fosters both healing and growth.

Her therapeutic style is integrative and responsive. At times, she works with clients to reframe current challenges and develop practical, solution-focused strategies. At other times, she helps individuals explore how past relationships and experiences shape their present, offering insight into patterns that may no longer serve them. With a strong focus on values-based living, Dr. Froese empowers her clients to draw upon their inner strengths and set meaningful goals that align with who they truly want to be. She considers it a privilege to walk alongside her clients as they navigate life’s challenges and work toward a more fulfilling future. When requested, Dr. Froese is also glad to integrate faith-based perspectives into the therapeutic process.

Dr. Froese earned her bachelor’s degree in behavioral science from Sterling College, her master’s degree in clinical psychology from Emporia State University, and her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Wheaton College. She completed her predoctoral internship at the North Chicago VA Hospital, where she gained valuable experience in treating a wide range of psychological concerns.

Throughout her career, Dr. Froese has served in various clinical settings, including Heritage Professional Associates, the VA, Flinthills Neuropsychology, and Horizons Mental Health Center. In addition to her clinical work, she has been a psychology professor at Sterling College since 2013, where she continues to share her passion for the field with future professionals.
